Quotes, deposits and payment

All recommendations, pricing and installation scopes are subject to assessment of the property and the written quote provided for the job. Deposit requirements and payment timing vary depending on equipment, installation requirements, special-order items and project size. Any applicable deposit or staged payment arrangement will be stated in the quote before work begins.

Finance

Where finance is offered, it is provided by a third-party lender and is subject to that lender’s approval, responsible lending criteria, interest rates, fees, terms and conditions. Finance approval is not guaranteed. The lender’s disclosure documents govern the credit arrangement.

Products, availability and timing

Product ranges, pricing, stock availability and lead times can change. Installation dates may also be affected by supplier availability, site access, weather, consent or compliance requirements, and other circumstances reasonably outside Frost Industries’ control. Any specific timing commitment will be recorded in the applicable quote or agreement.

Suitability and performance

General information on this website and in advertising is not a substitute for a site-specific assessment. System sizing, suitability, performance and installation requirements depend on the building, layout, insulation, glazing, exposure, existing services, equipment selection and how the space is used.

Warranties and consumer rights

Manufacturer warranties are subject to the relevant manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Any additional Frost Industries workmanship or satisfaction commitment applies to the agreed scope of work and any stated terms or exclusions.

Nothing on this website, in an advertisement, quote or warranty is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable New Zealand law.

Business customers

Where Frost Industries supplies goods or services to another business for business purposes, any agreement to contract out of consumer-law provisions will only apply where it is expressly recorded in writing and is legally permitted.

Advertising claims

Descriptions of experience, qualifications, services, brands, warranties, finance, pricing and availability are intended to be accurate at the time they are published. Brand availability and authorisation status can change, so final product and warranty details should be confirmed in the quote or manufacturer documentation.

Privacy

When you contact Frost Industries or request an assessment or quote, we may collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, property or service address, project details and communications with us. We collect this information so we can respond to enquiries, assess work, prepare quotes, schedule and carry out services, provide after-sales support, manage accounts and meet legal obligations.

We may share information with employees, contractors, product suppliers, service providers or finance providers where reasonably necessary for those purposes. A finance provider will also have its own privacy terms. We do not authorise third parties to use your personal information for unrelated purposes merely because they assist us with a job.

You may ask to access or correct personal information Frost Industries holds about you by contacting office@findltd.co.nz. If you choose not to provide information needed to assess or carry out a job, we may be unable to provide the requested quote or service.
